The Central Missouri Cancer Memorial Park

Caring residents of Central  Missouri have formed a non-profit organization through which to create a perpetual care memorial park dedicated to those who have struggled with cancer. Comprised of 9 area representatives, the Central Missouri Cancer Memorial Park Board of Directors considered the project for several years before commissioning a local architect to design the park and create a schematic to reflect their vision. Now, the Board needs help from the Mid-Missouri community at large to make this dream a reality.

Because cancer is a devastating disease that affects the quality of life in so many ways, the Central Missouri Memorial Park Board of Directors has envisioned a special place where mid-Missouri residents can come for the specific purpose of honoring their loved ones. Many have been and continue to be challenged by facing cancer themselves. Others have watched friends or family members undergo painful treatments as they try to manage the disease. It is time now to create a perpetual care memorial that recognizes their valiant fight, honors their struggle and celebrates their lives.
